Zygoma implants have become a very predictable treatment option in severe maxillary atrophy. Quad zygoma implants are particularly useful in dentoalveolar rehabilitation in syndromic patients such as ectodermal dysplasia, Papillon-Lefevre syndrome etc. This presentation will deal with the challenges and recent advances in Quad zygoma treatment concept.
Cleft skeletal maxillary hypoplasia is a big challenge to overcome. Anterior maxillary segmental distraction is a useful alternative to conventional osteotomies and full jaw maxillary distraction in such patients. This relatively simple surgical option will be discussed in the presentation.
